Enter Unicode characters on Linux programs

Many fonts support Unicode characters. To use a UTF8 character as text input to a program, find a font that works for your language/characters in a word processor such as LibreOffice. Enter the Unicode characters by any of:

• copy / paste
• Compose key
• enter hex code
