Windows Subsystem for Linux
Windows Subsystem for Linux (WSL) is a compatibility layer for running Linux binary executables on Windows using fewer resources than a traditional virtual machine. WSL allows running Linux command-line tools and utilities on Windows and can interact with the Windows file system.
