For Matlab version checking, isMATLABReleaseOlderThan is recommended over verLessThan(‘matlab’, …), which emits a warning. “isMATLABReleaseOlderThan” works directly with the Matlab release string rather than having to translate Matlab release to/from Matlab numeric version, which is human error prone.
